Eugene Hughes age 87, formerly of Campbellsburg, died at 11:50 a.m. Dec. 18, 2007 at the Meadow View Healthcare Center in Salem.He was born in Sparksville, IN.(Jackson Co.) to Virgil and Anna (Gallahan) Hughes. He married Leona Hughes on July 31, 1948. Leona preceded him in death. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church near Salem....

Funeral services will be at 11:00a.m. Saturday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in California.
