Gerald "Punk" Bierly

Gerald "Punk" Bierly of Borden, passed away Monday June 16, 2008 at the Clark Rehab Skilled Nursing Center in Clarksville, at the age of 84. He was the son of the late Lark Bierly and Jennie (Hurst) Bierly. He married A. Dorothy (Scheierman)on November 1, 1944, who survives. He retired from the Kimball plant in Borden after 32 years of service. He was an Army-Air Force Veteran, and a member of the Borden Christian Church. Other survivors include 1 daughter, Glenna L. Newby of Henryville, Indiana. 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Proceded in death by 1 Brother and 1 Sister. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden. Viewing will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday and after 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Brother Joe Franklin will officiate.
