Ralph R. Applegate

Ralph R. Applegate of Salem, Passed away on Thursday May 29, 2008 at 7:00 am at the Meadow View Health Care Center of Salem at the age of 85. Born: March 6, 1923 in Pekin, Indiana, he was the son of James & Daisy Applegate. He married Margery (Shockley) Applegate in August 23, 1949. He was a retired US Postal Service employee, and a Veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include: 1 Son Larry Applegate of Henryville. 3 Daughters Janice Brown, Judy Applegate, and Pam Hobson all of Salem. 1 Sister Ruth Collier of Pekin. Proceded in death by wife, 1 Grand Daughter Amber K. Baynes and several Brothers and Sisters. Services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 10:00 am until time of service on Saturday. Burial will be at Conway Cemetery near Pekin.
