Jewell Freeman

Jewell Freeman formally of Salem, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock N.C.. She was a daughter of the late Jasper Mullins and Sylvia (Gibson) Mullins. She married Samuel Freeman on Jan. 3, 1959, who procedes her in death. Survivors include 1 son: Sam C. Freeman of Brevard, N.C., and 1 daughter Bonita Freeman of Brevard, N.C. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 pm Friday, and after 9:00 am Saturday at the funeral Home. Burial will be at the Martinsburg Cemetery.
