Samantha Kay Kirtley

Samantha Kay Kirtley, age 31, of Salem, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.  Born July 30, 1989 in Salem, she was the daughter of Morgan Kirtley and Tracy (Kelley) Tharp.

Samantha was previously employed as a CNA at The Waters of Salem, performed in-home health care, and was a stay-at-home mom to her daughter, Lydia.

She is survived by her father, Morgan Kirtley; her mother, Tracy Tharp, and bonus dad, Brian Tharp; her daughter, Lydia Joslynn Rose Keith; 4 half brothers: Jeff Wheeler, Michael Wheeler, Shawn Kirtley, and Malachi Kirtley; her sister, Savannah Kirtley, and 2 half sisters: Sabrina Kirtley and Misty Kirtley; and her grandmother, Terry Kelley.

The funeral service will be held Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel.  Visitation will be held Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Burial to follow in Franklin Cemetery.
