Obituary
Richard Warren, age 81, of Pekin passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital. Born February 12, 1941 in New Albany, he was the son of the late Cyrus Warren and Viola Quisenberry. On October 20, 1959, he married Janet (Rickard) Warren who survives.
Richard retired from Sonoco Products with 35+ years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Warren, 3 children: Jeffrey Warren (Patricia), Lori Woodard (Samuel), and Lisa Warren; 2 sisters: Sue Denton and Judy Chastain; and 2 grandchildren: Kyle Warren and Rachel Warren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyrus Warren and Viola Quisenberry; 2 brothers: William Quick and Charles Paul Warren; and 2 sisters: Myra Titus and Sharon Floyd.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Borden Chapel. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
