Orville Roark Obituary

Orville Roark, age 80, of Salem passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022 at his residence. Born September 3, 1942, he was the son of the late Shelby Roark and Fannie (Bailey) Roark.

Orville retired from Smith Cabinet Factory with 35+ years of service; he attended Life Tabernacle of Salem.

Orville is survived by his children: Eddie Roark, Charlene Bush (Frank), and Marty Roark; 2 grandchildren: Lacy Brown and Bridget Bush; and 1 great grandchild: Gabriel Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Fannie Roark; wife, Betty Roark; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel with Bro. Rodney Wineinger officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
