Michael Wade Morris, age 71, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at St. Vincent Salem Hospital. Born February 19, 1952 in Nevada, Missouri, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Mary Morris.

On July 8, 1996, Michael married Brenda (Garwood) Morris, who survives.

Michael proudly served his country in the United State Army, and worked as a truck driver for over 40 years.

Michael is survived by his wife, Brenda; and 3 children: Shannon, Steven, and Kelo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Mary Morris; and 3 brothers: Robert, Gene, and Ron.

Direct cremation was chosen. Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
