Obituary
Leon “Cotton” Faulkner, age 68 of Salem, passed away Wednesday July 5, 2023 at his residence. Born on August 9, 1954 in London, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Wesley Faulkner and Christine (Tincher) Faulkner.
Cotton was a member of Sugar Creek Christian Church, and a retired logger for Hacker Sawmill with 27 years of service.
He is survived by 3 children; Misty Arredondo, Linzy Short, and Dustin Matlock; brother, Cecil Faulkner; sister, Kathy Crowait; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be Thursday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at 7 Pines Cemetery in McKee, Kentucky. Brother Todd Murphy will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the funeral home to help with expenses.
