Larry Hurst Obituary

Larry L. Hurst, age 81, of Borden, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital. Born July 28, 1940 in Borden, he was the son of the late Kenneth Hurst and Pearl Marie (Reister) Hurst. On June 12, 1963, he married Betty Jo (Cullins) Hurst who survives.

Larry was a janitor at Joe Huber's Family Farm & Restaurant for over 30 years; was a member of the Indiana National Guard; and was a member of the First Christian Church of Borden.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Hurst; 3 sons: Larry Lee Hurst II, Michael Eugene Hurst, and Gary Wayne Hurst; 1 brother: Maurice Hurst; 5 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; and 2 sisters.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Borden Chapel. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
