Jimmy Carl Buckles, Jr., age 67, of Salem passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at his residence. Born May 29, 1954 in Laurel, Maryland, he was the son of the late Jimmy Carl Buckles, Sr. and Alice Pettingill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Carl Buckles, Sr. and Alice Pettingill.

Jimmy is survived by his life partner, Chris Midkiff; 5 children: Robert Buckles, Shane Buckles, William Midkiff, Chrissy Crickard, and Adam Buckles; 2 brothers: Danny Buckles and Lenny Buckles; 3 sisters: Shirley Meile, Robin Mitchem, and Judy Grimes; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Cremation was chosen; Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral care.
