Glenda Sue Purlee, age 61, of Salem passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 at her residence. Born February 22, 1962 in Jeffersonville, she was the daughter of the late Howard Cullins and Edna Lucille (Hardy) Cullins.
She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Borden.
She is survived by 2 brothers: Kenny Cullins and Richard Wimbish; 4 sisters: Lisa Wynn (Michael Maness), Helen Chandler, Brenda Johnson, and Linda Hill (John); Nieces and Nephews: Angie Floyd, Megan Chandler, Kittie Perkins, Laiken Lewis, and Katrina Johnson, Landon Priest and Colton Lewis; and Great Nephew, Michael.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Edna Cullins; husband, David Blue Purlee; brother, Phillip Gilchrist; and nephew, Aaron Lewis.
Services will be private; Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral care.
