William Elmer Beckett

William Elmer Beckett, age 78, of Pekin, died on Sunday October 9, 2011 at 10:00 PM at the Clark Memorial Hospital. Born on August 19, 1933, he was the son of the late John Henry Beckett and Warrena Minton Beckett. He was a retired Foreman for Gohman Construction. He was a Navy Veteran. Survivors include; 1 daughter, Anna Maria Beckett of Jeffersonville, IN.; 3 brothers, Donnie Beckett of Georgia, John M. (Sylvia) Beckett of Pekin, IN., Dan (Lynn) Beckett of Pekin, IN.; Joan Pixley of Pekin, IN., Mary Brooks of Salem, IN.; 2 sister in laws, Sharon Arnold of Scottsburg, IN., and Sharon Cook of Borden, IN.; several nieces and nephews. Proceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister. A memorial service will be at 6:30 PM Friday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden.
