Wanda Jean (Sturgeon) Wininger

Wanda Jean Wininger, age 80, of Salem, passed away on April 29, 2014 at the Paoli Health & Living Community. Born on February 9, 1934 in English, Indiana, she was the daughter of James Robert Sturgeon and Clara Marie (Foster) Sturgeon. On July 19, 1950, she married Kinder "Bud" Wininger. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Salem Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include: husband, Kinder "Bud" Wininger of Salem; 3 sons, Kinder E. (Rita) Wininger of Hardinsburg, Daniel J. (Marquetta) Wininger of Paoli, David W. (Leah Jane) Wininger of Salem; 3 daughters, Barbara J. (Randy) Sease of Salem, Judith A. Couch of Paoli, Janice K. (Rex) Seacat of Pekin; 1 brother, Donald Sturgeon of Paoli; 2 half brothers, Leroy and Thomas Lewis both or Orleans; 1 half sister, Joann (Roger) Silva of Evansville; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by: parents, 2 sisters. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Salem Church of the Nazarene. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Friday at the church. Viewing Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Stampers Creek Cemetery. Bro. Rick Main will officiate.
