Wanda Louise Alred, age 80, of Salem, passed away on October 12, 2014 at her residence. She was born on May 1. 1934 in Salem, Indiana.
She was a member of the Salem Church of God. She was retired from O.P. Link Handle, and formerly employed at Baird Mobile Homes in Salem.
Survivors include: 1 daughter, Sharon (Garry) Byerly of Salem; 2 brothers, Arley (Barbara) Brewer of Oklahoma and Larry (Charlotte) Brewer of Arizona; 1 sister, Shirley Maack of Salem; 2 grandchildren, Kelly (Tommy) Revard and Keith (Angel) Byerly; 5 great grandchildren, Gillian Revard, Kaitlyn Revard, Kaedyn Byerly, Koltyn Byerly, and Kennedy Byerly; ex-husband, Noble Elliott.
Preceded in death by: parents, Arley Brewer and Dorothy (Nicholson) Brewer; husband, Jack Alred; 1 grandson, Kevin Patton.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Thursday at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. David Darnell, Adam Livingston and Neil Kenyon will officiate.
