Von O. Elliott

Von O. Elliott age 71 of Salem, Indiana passed away at 7:21 AM in Washington County on April 16, 2010. Born on February 28, 1939, he was the son of the late Fred S. Elliott and Anna T. Elliott. He married Rita (Naugle) Elliott on April 17, 1963, she survives. He was a farmer, and former Director of the Jackson Co. REMC. He was an Army Veteran. He was also an Active member of the Canton United Methodist Church. Other survivors include a son, Paul W. (Katheryn) Elliott of Salem Indiana; one grandson, James F. Elliott of Salem, Indiana; one sister, Wanda Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana. The funeral service will at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Franklin Church at the Franklin Cemetery. Viewing will be from noon until 8:00 PM Monday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem, and after 9:00 AM on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at the Franklin Cemetery. Brother Ken Woolsey will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Washington County Community Foundation or the Franklin Cemetery.
