Vickie Kniesly

Vickie L. Kniesly, 63, of Pekin, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.  Born July 30, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Rod and Penny (Foster) Houston.

Vickie is survived by her 4 children: Bill Kniesly (Ashlee), Sean Kniesly, Candace Meredith (Brandon) and Dylan Fires; 2 brothers: Lenny Houston and Danny Houston; 4 sisters: Dusty Trumble, Audrey Donais, Laurie Guntle and Nancy Beall; and 3 grandchildren: Emily Meredith, Zoe Meredith and Christopher Fremody.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Sullivan; her parents, Rod and Penny Houston; and 2 brothers.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home – Pekin Chapel.  Visiting hours will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

There will be a dinner after the Celebration of life at the funeral home.
