Jeffery Todd Porter, age 49, of Greenville, died at 10:26 AM on September, 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born on December 7, 1962. Survivers include; father, John D. Porter of Salem; mother and step-father, Patricia S. Gilstrap and Art Gilstrap Sr., both of Salem; 1 daughter, Whitney (Brian) Preston of Pekin; 2 granddaughters, Lexis Gilstrap and Aubree Preston; 2 brothers, J. Trent (Betsy) Porter of Ogdensburg, NY and Chad V. Porter of Salem; 1 sister, Kelly (David) Niehaus of New Salisbury; 1 step-brother, Art Gilstrap Jr. of Salem; fiance and caregiver Julia Rumbley of Greenville. Proceded in death by; grandmother Mildred M. Brown; 2 step-brothers, Joseph Gilstrap and Mark Gilstrap. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Friday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem.
