Timothy Russell Fleming

Timothy Russell Fleming, age 65, of Pekin passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. Born November 8, 1958, he was the son of Dennis Ray Fleming, Sr. and Dorothy (Buchanan) Fleming. On May 13, 1978, he married Trina (Potter) Fleming who survives.

Timothy was a self employed general contractor, a member of the First Baptist Church of Pekin, and a member of the American Legion Post #203 in Pekin. Timothy proudly served his country for 11 years in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife: Trina Fleming; 2 children: Sabrina Kay Mitchell (Eric) and Matthew Allen Fleming (Brooke); 3 brothers: Jerry Spears, Ezra Ray Fleming and Dennis Ray Fleming, Jr.; 2 sisters: Diane McRae and Filicidy Jones; 8 grandchildren: Gavin Fleming, Brayden Westfall, Caitlyn Fleming, Gabrielle Fleming, Alexander Fleming, Emma Westfall, Annabelle Fleming and Paxton Mitchell; and 1 great grandchild: Grayson Fleming.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Jeremy Fleming; and 2 sisters: Jatana Fleming and Sandra Arnold.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 21, at 11:00 A.M. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Pekin Chapel with Pastor Steve Jones officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with full military honors.
