Teena E. (Roberts) Balentine

Teena E. Balentine, age 67, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at her residence. Born October 24, 1957 in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Alva Lewis Roberts and Barbara (Easton) Vanover. On December 22, 1982, she married Randall Balentine.

In 1986, Teena opened her own business in Pekin called “Teena’s Pizza Shack”; she was a member of the Red Quarry Christian Church in French Lick, Indiana.

She is survived by her husband, Randall Balentine; 1 daughter: Stacey (Aaron) Fleming; 1 son-in-law: Ron Reategui; 1 sister: Patricia (Joe) Hardin; 5 grandchildren: Abbi Fleming, Lexi Fleming, Reilly Reategui, Noah Reategui and Isaac Reategui.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva Lewis Roberts and Barbara Vanover; and 1 daughter, Jennifer Reategui.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pekin Park Shelter with Jason Saylor officiating.  Teena's Pizza will be served following the service in honor of Teena.

Condolences may be made to the Washington County Animal Shelter, Hospice of Southern Indiana, or by planting a tree.
