Steve Lloyd

Steve Lloyd, age 60 of Salem Indiana, passed away on July 19, 2017 at his residence with family and friends at his bedside. He was born on March 24, 1957 in Salem Indiana to Robert & Edythe (Cash) Lloyd. After attending high school at Salem, Steve served in the United States Army before returning to Salem. He was an employee of O.P. Links & Child Craft for several years. On June 14, 2001 he married Teresa Barger Lloyd. Steve had 2 sons; Ricky (Stephanie) Lloyd of Salem, & Stevie Lloyd, who precedes him in death. Step-Daughter Amanda Hobson of Salem, & step-son  Joseph Hobson, who precedes him in death. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Barger Lloyd, Ricky Lloyd & Amanda Hobson. Brothers: Robert (Susan) Lloyd of Salem, Tim (Leann) Lloyd of Salem, & Jim Lloyd of Salem. Sisters: Nancy (Bill) South of New ALbany, Linda (Eddie) Ireland of Florida, Tina (David) Divinny of Salem, & Tammie (Keith) Bierly of Salem. Mother in law Mary Barger. Brother and sister in laws, Philip and Cindy Young, Clyde and Sharon Stahl, & Mike & Jannetta Barger. Many nieces & nephews who loved and adored him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Edythe (Cash) Lloyd. Son Stevie Lloyd & step-son Joseph Hobson. Sister, Dottie Gardner. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 5-8 PM Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
