Stella C. (Heathcock) Sparks

Stella C. Sparks, age 71, of Salem, Indiana, passed away Thursday October 31, 2019 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. Born on October 8, 1948 in Florence Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Agnes (Turner) Heathcock.

Stella was a retired LPN. She was a member of the Hardinsburg Assembly of God.

She is survived by 4 children, Valerie J. (Joe) Richardson, Veronica L. (Mark) Lykins, Frank A. (Stacey R.) Sparks, and Victoria S. (Andy A.) Speer; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Claude F. Sparks; granddaughter, Paige Kelley; grandson, Eric R. C. Kelley; companion, James Eickleburger: 3 brothers and 1 sister.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday November 5th at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Martinsburg Cemetery. Brother Denzil Wiseman will officiate.
