Shirley Ann Hortenberry

Shirley Ann Hurst Hortenberry age 74 of Borden passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 8:06 AM at the Clark Memorial Hospital. Born on October 28, 1935, she was the Daughter of the late Ernest Richard Hurst and Lillian May (Mc Kinley) Hurst. She retired from GE after 23 years of service. She was a member of the Borden Church of Christ. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Kim Ann Hortenberry of Borden. 3 Brothers: Jerry Hurst of Borden, John Hurst of Pekin, and Jack Hurst of Borden. 1 Sister: Margie Dixon of Sellersburg. She was preceded in death by both Parents, and 2 Sisters. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM Monday November 16, 2009 at the Borden Church of Christ. Viewing will be from 2-8 PM Sunday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden, and Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the Church. Burial will be at the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Brother Scott Reeder will officiate.
