Shawn Douglas Martin

Shawn Douglas Martin, age 35, of Salem passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital.  Born May 3, 1987 in Salem, he was the son of Ervin Martin, Jr. and Janie Martin.

Shawn was a roofer/carpenter by trade.

He is survived by his parents, Ervin and Janie Martin, 3 children: Shawn Logan Martin, Ella Mae Martin, and Jozi Mills; and 3 brothers: Calvin Wayne Johnson, Christopher Lee Martin, and Brent Allen Martin.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel with Bro. Rodney Wineinger officiating.  Visitation will be held Friday, November 11, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.  Burial to follow in Highland Friends Cemetery.
