Scott Gill

Scott Gill, age 51, of Salem, died Thursday April 19, 2012 at his residence. Born on July 3, 1960, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Charles Hershel Gill and Martha "Marti"Pearl (Benge) Gill. On July 1, 2006 he married Kristina R. (Taylor) Gill, who survives. He was an Engineer at the GKN Sinter Metals of Salem. He was a member of the Burge Terrace Baptist Church in Indianapolis. He was also an active Tee Ball coach. Other survivors include; 1 son, Brandon Thompson of Salem; 2 daughters, Rebecca Bowling and Elizabeth Gill both of Salem; 1 brother, Dan Gill of Seymour; 2 sisters, Debbi Hayes of Salem, and Sue Corey of Indianapolis; 6 grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Sunday and from 11 AM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Old Rush Creek Cemetery. Brother Rodney Sweeney will officiate. Donations may be made to the GKN Relay for Life team. Online expressions www.hughestaylor.net
