Sarah A. Sprinkle

Sarah A. Sprinkle, age 85, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on December 15, 2018 at her residence. Born on January 21, 1933 in Borden, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Cephas & Ruth L. (Hosea) Jackson. On March 25 1950, she married Omer J. Sprinkle. Omer passed away in 1976.

Sarah was a homemaker and clerk for Marguerites Produce in Borden.

Survivors include 2 sons, Calvin Sprinkle (Sherry) & JD Sprinkle (Kim); daughter in law, Emma Sprinkle; 3 sisters, Virginia Gail Jackson, Roberta Jackson & Wanda Jones (Jim); 7 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband; parents; 2 sons, Randall Sprinkle & Vincent Sprinkle; brother, Arnold Jackson; 4 sisters, Iris Beyl, Lillian Hurst, Mable Pixley & Evelyn Links.

The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden. Viewing will be 4-8 PM Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9:00 Am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Brother Jerry Goodwin will officiate.
