Sarah C. Haley, age 74, of New Albany passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at her residence. Born January 31, 1949 in Knott County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late James Whitaker and Christine (Jones) Whitaker.
She was a retired labor and delivery nurse at the old Washington County Memorial Hospital.
Sarah is survived by 3 children: Ronnie Frazier, Jr., Shawna Steilen, and Justin Frazier; 1 sister: Vickie Whitaker; and 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Christine Whitaker.
Direct cremation was chosen; Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral care.
