Ruby M. Jackson

Ruby M. Jackson, age 87, of Winter Haven FL. passed away August 20, 2010 at her residence in Florida. Born on October 20, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Edward Wright and Dee (Simpson). She was retired from the Polk County School System. Survivors include; one son, Tony Akers of New Albany, Indiana; one daughter, Patricia Potts of Borden, Indiana; two brothers, Hobart Wright and Jackie Jackson both from Borden, Indiana; four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandhildren. Preceded in death by her husband Marvin Jackson and one brother Noel Wright. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Friday and after 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. Pastor John Beasley will officiate.
