Ruby Bernice Campbell, age 93 of Salem, Formally of California passed away on February 13, 2010 at 11:30 PM at the Hampton Oaks Nursing Home of Scottsburg. Born on January 9, 1917 in Salem,Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Carl Branaman and Carrie (McNeely) Branaman. She married Charles L. Campbell on April 27, 1940, who passed away on February 12, 1999. She retired from McGraw-Hill. Survivors Include 1 Sister; Martha Albertson of Salem. Several Nieces and Nephews; Harriett Todd of Leola, PA. Kathryn McNeely of Scottsburg, IN. John Chastain of Medora, IN. Eleanor Hauser of Greencastle, IN. Nancy Vuckson of Scottsburg, IN. Robert Chastain of Bainbridge, IN. Linza Bruggenschmidt of Scottsburg, IN. and Pat Judd of Scottsburg, IN. She was preceded in death by her Husband, 1 Brother, 4 Sisters. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery Salem. Larry Joe DeWitt will officiate.
