Roy "Tiny" Slone

Roy "Tiny" Slone, age 62, of Pekin, passed away on March 3, 2014 at the Floyd Memorial Hospital. Born on August 10, 1951 in McDowell, Kentucky, he was the son of Tim Slone and Nola Mae (Wells) Slone. He was a 35 year member of the Iron Horsemen Motorcycle Club. Survivors include: mother, Nola Mae Slone of Kentucky; 3 daughters, Cathie Luedeman of Seymour, IN., Susan (Phillip) Owens of Seymour, IN., and Sarah (Will) Creasman of Louisville, KY.; 5 brothers, Randall Slone of Kentucky, Lloyd Slone of Ohio, Roger Slone of Ohio, David Slone of Kentucky, and Jeff Slone of Kentucky; 2 sisters, Doris Hudson of Kentucky and Carla Smith of Kentucky; 7 grandchildren; companion, Lisa Campbell; special friend, Don Meyer; Former wife, Jeanne Sloan. Preceded in death by: father, 1 son-in-law. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 AM Thursday until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be Friday at the Slone Family Cemetery in Kentucky. Bro.
