Ronald "Bub" Wayne Rickard

Ronald "Bub" Wayne Rickard, age 79, of Borden, Indiana passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at his residence.  Born December 14, 1942, he was the son of the late Donovan Rickard and Gladys (Campbell) Rickard.

Bub retired from Colgate and was a farmer and owner and operator of Rickard's Sawmill.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Julie Jackson (James) and Jana Sjoquist (Wayne); 2 brothers: Timothy Rickard and Ivan Rickard; 5 sisters: Donnetta Phillips, Beth Brown, Sherry Roxanne Starrett, Deana Green, and Donna Huffines; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donovan and Gladys Rickard; son, Dennis Rickard; and several brothers and sisters.

Cremation was chosen; Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral care.

Donations in memory of Bub may be made to the Friends of Borden Community Park Association.
