Romilda Ann (Wright) Staser

Romilda Ann Staser, age 93 of Borden, Indiana, passed away on November 12, 2016 at Baptist Health Floyd Memorial Hospital. Born on February 14, 1923 in Borden, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Linzie Edward Wright and Emma Marguerite Fordyce Wright. Romilda was a member of the Daisy Hill United Methodist Church, the Borden Historical Society, and the Order of the Eastern Star #588. She was formely employed with the Army Ammunition Plant in Charlestown. Survivors include her children, Eldon Whitlow and wife Marsha of Pekin, and Cindy McNeely and husband Rick of Scipio, Indiana; two step-daughters, Peggy Henn of Iowa, and Patty Hall of Sellersburg; 8 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Staser; son, Rocky Fisher; sister, Norma Wright; step-son, Kenny Staser. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Jeffrey Whitlow will officiate. www.hughestaylor.net
