Robert Eugene Stewart

Robert Eugene Stewart of Salem, passed away on December 25, 2008 at 12:50 PM at the Meadow View Health & Rehab Center, at the age of 81. He was born on December 18, 1927 in Salem, he was the son of the late Glenn Stewart and Ruth (Telle). He married Doris Ailene Oliver on August 28, 1949, who precedes him in death. He was a Self-Employed Electrician, and worked 15 years with the BLDG Commissioners. He was an Ordained Minister, and he attended Christian Heritage of Salem. Survivors include: 2 Daughters Karen Hobbs of Salem and Diane Craig of Mitchell. 2 Sisters Mary Louise Lyles of New Castle and Lois Jean Traveny of Bedford. 3 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 10:00 Am until the time of service on Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery. Matthew Craig will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Gedions International.
