Robert E. Ripperdan

Robert E. Ripperdan, age 71, of Salem formerly of New Albany, passed away on January 23, 2014 at the St. Vincent Salem Hospital. Born on April 9, 1942 in Corydon, Indiana, he was the son of Stanley E. Ripperdan and Cora Fern (Bottles) Ripperdan. He was a retired Commercial Painter. He was a member of the Evangel Tabernacle of Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of the Bonnie Sloan American Legion Post 28 of New Albany, Indiana. Survivors include: 1 son, Robert E. Ripperdan II of New Albany, Indiana; 2 sisters, Sandra Timberlake and Paula Hughes both of Corydon, Indiana. Preceded in death by: parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. The services will be private.
