Robert W. Elliott Sr.

Robert W. Elliott Sr. age 83 of Salem, Indiana passed away Wednesday March 17, 2010 at 11:58 PM at his residence. Born on October 3, 1926, he was the son of the late Albert T. Elliott and Elva (Goodpaster) Elliott. He married Helen "Rebel" Morton Elliott on September 5, 1952, who survives. He was a retired Lietutenant Colonel after 28 years of service in the Army. He was a lifemember of the VFW, and a Lifemember of the Military Officers Association of America. He was also a member of the First Methodist Church of Mansfield Louisisana. Other survivors include; two sons, Robert W. Elliott Jr. of St. Paul MN. and James T. Elliott of Muncie, IN; Three Brothers Noble Elliott of Salem, IN. Lee Elliott of Kokomo, IN. and Charles Elliott of Salem, IN; One Sister Maysel Roop of Salem, IN; Two Grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the New Hope United Methodist Church. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery with full Military Service. Brother Charles Pelc will officiate. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
