Phyllis Ann (Brewer) Tierno

Phyllis Ann Tierno, age 79, Kokomo, Indiana, formerly of Salem, Indiana, passed away on September 4, 2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Kokomo. Born on June 16, 1939 in Campbellsburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Brewer and Anna Mae (Maudlin) Brewer. Phyllis was a member of Mt. Hebron Church. She was a member of Hoosier Hustlers Homemakers Club. She is survived by her brother, Billy L. Brewer of Salem; sister, Shirley Singh of Kokomo. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Tierno; brother, Robert L. Brewer. The funeral service will be at 4:00 PM Saturday at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be Saturday from 2:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home. Brother Rodney Sweeney will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Online expressions: www.hughestaylor.net
