Paul E. Miller, age 84, of New Albany, formally of Pekin, passed away Saturday May 4, 2013 in Floyd Memorial hospital. Born on April 26, 1929 in Fredericksburg, Indiana, he was the son of the late Lawrence Edward Miller and Margery Crim Miller. On September 6, 1953 he married Marilyn McCoskey who procedes him in death. On June 24, 1977 he married Lillian Faye Rockey Durham who procedes him in death.
He was Church of Christ in Faith. He attended Grantline United Methodist in New Albany along with his wife Faye.
He was an Army Veteran. He was a maintenance worker with B.F. Goodrich in Salem. He also worked for Vulcan-Hart in Louisville.
Survivors include: 2 step sons, William Durham who cared for him, and Michael (Dawn) Durham both of New Albany; 3 sons, Dennis (Carol) Miller of Salem, Scott (Donna) Miller of Pekin and Gregg (Sherry) Miller of Clarksville; 2 daughters, Karen (Otis) Kirtley of Pekin and Kristi (Andrew) Rothbauer of Boerne, Texas; 1 brother, Irvin (Anita) Miller of Salem; 1 sister, Loretta (Robert) McKillip of Pekin; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Proceded in death by 1 brother Warren Miller and 1 sister Ruby Fern Miller.
The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Monday and from 11:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Martinsburg Cemetery with Full Military Services.
