Patricia I. Rice

Patricia "Patty" I. Rice, age 73, of Borden, Indiana passed away at 5:00 PM on Monday October 11, 2010 in Clark Memorial Hospital. Born on March 17, 1937 in Pekin, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Edgar W. Terrell and Alice (Mull) Terrell. She was a member of the Borden Christian Church. On September 16, 1955 she married John William Rice, who survives. Other survivors include; three sons, Timothy (Peggy) Rice of Memphis, Indiana, Michael Rice of Henryville, Indiana, Richard (Wanda) Rice of Roxboro, North Carolina; one son-in-law, Steve Watkins; one brother, William Terrell of Silver Spring, Maryland; one sister, Betty Lee Hanger of Surprise, Arizona; six grandchildren, Ashley Evinger, Matthew Rice, Ben Rice, Jordan Stewart, Haylee Rice and Jacob Rice; one great grandchild, Colton Evinger. Proceded in death by parents; one son David Rice; one daughter Cathy Watkins. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday at the Borden Christian Church. Viewing will be from 2-8 PM Thursday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden and Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Daisy Hill Cemetery.
