Patricia Sue (Cress) Hopkins

Patricia Sue Hopkins, age 75, of Pekin, Indiana passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at her residence.  Born July 8, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Abner "Dickie" Cress and Sudie (Brigmon) Cress.  On July 31, 1964, she married Russell E. Hopkins, Jr, who survives.

Patricia was a retired cook for the Salem High School and was a member of the Big Spring Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Russell E. Hopkins Jr.; 1 daughter, Debra Lynn Kuntz (Billy); and 1 son, Greg Hopkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abner and Sudie Cress; and 2 sisters, Wanda Byerly and Judith Ann Cress.

The funeral service will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel with Bryan Nash officiating.  Visitation will be held Sunday, May 23, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.  Burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
