Noble E. Elliott

Noble E. Elliott, age 88, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on November 2, 2017 at the Salem Crossing. Born on April 25, 1929 in Washington County Indiana, he was the son of the late Albert Elliott & Elva (Goodpaster) Elliott. Noble was an Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 41, and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. He was a mechanic and retired from Smith Cabinet. Survivors include his wife, Margie (Howard) Elliott; daughter, Sharron Byerly & husband Gary; step daughter, Diana Aikman & husband Richard; 2 brothers, Charles Elliott & Lee Elliott; sister, Maysel Roop; 2 grandchildren, 1 step grandson & 6 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Elva Elliott; brother, Robert Elliott. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors.
