Nellie Marguerette (Hill) Temple

Nellie Marguerette Temple, age 97, of Pekin, passed away on November 5, 2015 at the Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown. She was born on August 22, 1918 in Pekin, Indiana. Nellie was a member of the Brownstown Nazarene Church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society at Hoosier Christian Village. Survivors include: son, Harold (Betty) Temple Jr. of Florida; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Harold U. Temple Sr., 1 granddaughter, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 11:00 AM until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Brother Tom Fultz will officiate. www.hughestaylor.net
