Nancy Sue Taylor, age 65, of Pekin, Indiana passed away on August 14, 2015 at her residence. Born on March 6, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry Stone and Margaret Mae (Jones) Stone. She was a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church. Survivors include: husband, Jerry Taylor; 2 daughters, Michelle Taylor Balentine (Richard), and Patricia Taylor (Bill Batchelor); 2 brothers, James Stone and Martin Stone; 2 sisters, Patricia Coats and Lynn Waters; 2 granddaughters, Elizabeth Batchelor and Lisa Batchelor. Preceded in death by: parents, Thomas and Margaret Stone; biological father, Charles Carroll; sister, Sharon Conner; 2 brothers, Robert Stone and Charles Carroll Jr.; granddaughter, Havannah Balentine. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Monday and from 9:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
