Myrtle C. Holloway, age 84, of Salem passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Meadow View Health & Rehab Center. Born January 5, 1938 in West Jefferson, North Carolina, Myrtle was the daughter of the late Austin Brown and Rosa (Osbourne) Brown.
Myrtle is survived by 3 children: Joseph Holloway (Christin), Debra Meredith (Jeffrey), and Janie Goldsberry (Dennis); 2 sisters: Madeline and Beulah; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Rosa Brown; husband, Arthur Holloway; and 1 son, Samuel Holloway.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 25, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
