Melissa "Missy" Ruth Davis, age 33, of Salem, died Friday October 12, 2012 at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born on March 12, 1979 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was a graduate of Easter High School class of 1997. Survivors inclue; mother, Nancy (Shepherd) Reisinger, step-father, Monty Reisinger both of Salem; father, Steve Davis of Somerset, Ky; 2 brothers, Matthew Davis of Pekin, and Mitchell Davis of Salem; 2 half brothers, Josh Davis of Hanover, and Harley Davis of Somerset, Ky; 1 stepbrother, Monty Reisinger II of New Albany; 4 half sisters, Jasmine Davis, Violet Davis, and Roxanne Davis all of Hanover, and Christinia Davis of Clarksville; 1 stepsister Michelle Johnson of New Albany; 3 grandmothers, Ruth Shepherd of Salem, Kathryn Reisinger of Jeffersonville, and Lois Davis of Somerset, Ky. Proceeded in death by three grandfathers, 1 half sister. The Funeral Service will be at 7:30 PM Tuesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 3:00 PM Tuesday until time of service at the funeral home. Rick Main will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
