Millard Hobbs

Millard Hobbs, age 77, of Pekin, Indiana passed away at 7:12 PM on October 9, 2010 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. Born on November 13, 1932 in Pennington Gap, Virginia, he was the son of the late John Alonzo Hobbs and Sadie Vance Garrett Hobbs. He was an Air Force Veteran and retired from the Ford Motor Truck Plant in Louisville. He was a member of the New Providence Masonic Lodge#237. Survivors include; one son, Michael Hobbs of Salem; one daughter, Christinia "Tina" Hall of Pekin; one grandson, Stephen Hobbs and two great grandchildren, Clayton and Presley Hobbs. Proceded in death by parents, four brothers, J.C., Lee Roy, Tom and Jack Hobbs. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 Tuesday and after 11:00 AM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Washington Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Bro. Jerry Goodwin will officiate.
