Michael A Danser

Michael A. Danser, age 74 of Pekin, formerly of Borden Indiana, passed away on January 1, 2017 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville. He was born on August 31, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Michael was an Air Force Veteran. He was retired from Greater Clark Schools where he worked in maintenance. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Borden. Survivors include his wife, Helen (Hurst) Danser; son, Mark Danser & his wife Rhonda, of Pekin; daughter, Carrie Pettit & husband Dave of New Whiteland, Indiana; 2 brothers, Gordon Danser & Frederick Danser both of Nevada; sister, Mary Krik of Illinois; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank Danser & Mary L. (Beauchamp) Danser; 1 brother. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
