Michael Neal Albertson, age 61, passed away at 1:01 PM Tuesday September 27, 2011. Born on September 21, 1950, he was the son of the late Woodrow Albertson and Lula (Jackson) Albertson. On January 25, 1969, he married Rhonda Ratts, who survives. He was a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Services. He was a member of the Highway Church of Christ in Pekin. Other survivors include; 1 son, Eric (Myra) Albertson of Salem, Indiana; 1 daughter, Lynn (Daniel) Short of Pekin, Indiana; 3 brothers, Lowell Albertson of Moorestown, Indiana, Keith Albertson of Salem, Indiana, Ronald Albertson of Clarksville, Indiana; 1 sister, Carolyn Hobson of Pekin, Indiana; 4 grandchildren. Proceded in death by; parents, 1 sister. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Friday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem.
