Melissa Ann Coy

Melissa Ann Coy, age 63, of Hardinsburg, Indiana passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital.  Born May 7, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Osborne and Gladys Osborne who survives.  On June 11, 1988, she married Michael Coy who survives.

Melissa was a homemaker; baking and cooking were her passion.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; mother, Gladys; 3 daughters: Stefanni Sprinkle, Meghan Hahn; and Sara Coy; 1 brother: Jeff Osborne; 1 sister: Barbara Russell; and 4 grandchildren: Devin Sprinkle, Ryleigh Combs, Khloey Sprinkle, and Jaelyn Copeland.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence; 1 son: Paul Cavanaugh; 1 great grandchild; 1 brother; and 1 sister.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
