Maryetta Stidham

Maryetta Stidham, age 70, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital.  Born May 31, 1954, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Ida M. (Huey) Monroe.

Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salem and the Salem Senior Center.  She was an avid supporter of the Shriners and the ASPCA.  She enjoyed playing bingo at the Senior Center, playing Yahtzee, and puzzles.

Mary is survived by her beloved friends, Laura Manlove and Mary Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ida; her brother and her sister.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home – Salem Chapel, with Steve Schaftlein officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
