Martha (Branaman) Albertson

October 21, 1919 — October 18, 2012

Martha Albertson was born October 21, 1919 in Salem, Indiana, and departed this life October 18, 2012 at her residence in Salem. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Carrie McNeely Branaman. She was married to Forrest Albertson April 28, 1956, and he preceeded her in death September 13, 1993. She is survived by a daughter Harriett Branaman Todd, wife of Robert Todd of Leola, Pennsylvania; two grandsons, Ken Todd and wife Julie of Stafford ,Virginia, and Peter Todd and wife Karen of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; seven great grandchildren, Steven, David, Robert, Elizabeth, Phillip, Nathan and Hannah Todd. Martha was the youngest of six sisters, all whom have proceeded her in death, Harriett Chastain, Mary Elizabeth Bruggenschmidt, Lucille Branaman, Irene MacDonald, and Ruby Campbell. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, where she will be buried alongside her parents. Brother Bob Holler will officiate. Online expressions: www.hughestaylor.net
